Different hospitals, clinics, labs, and others need an effective and reliable hospital management system that neatly maintains the details of the patients. It should help you maintain the list of prescriptions, test results, and other information of your patients. Billing, generating report and carrying out various tests of the patients is also their responsibility.

Such management systems are quite helpful to doctors and even for cancer hospital planning. They are able easily manage their databases and retrieve the required information whenever required. You can also use it for keeping a record of inventory supplies and accounts in hospitals. The management can choose the management tools that perfectly match their needs and requirements.

Before you place an order for the same, check the list of medicines, patients admitted every day or week, and other things. Such factors will help you in deciding the size of the database that will be suitable for your business. It is equally important to train your staff members to use automated management systems, so that they can effectively make the required entries and manage it efficiently.

Your job doesn’t merely end after it has been installed. It is necessary to check if it is performing as designed and a note should be made, if it has to be updated. During diagnose the patients might have to go through different test facilities like X-ray, urine, stool, gastro copy, colonoscopy, blood, and biochemistry test. Based on the report, the doctors then recommend the best medicines that will cure their ailment.

Hospital management systems are very accurate and systematic

This program is integrated with various internal systems, which is indeed an advantage to the user. It helps them to keep record of everything in a systematic manner. All the data has to be saved in such a way that it is retrieved quickly, without any trouble. The standard of exactitude is very necessary.

It has to make sure that the prescriptions and operations are free from any errors. Everything has to be done correctly, as you cannot stake the patient’s life.

People rely on this system as they are accountable:

The authenticity of hospital management systems is very eminent. People rely on the system blindly, as it functions in an appropriate way. The information has to be stored in a very balanced way and the excess and repeated ones have to be taken off, regularly.

This will always give you enough storage space. There is no room for any mistakes and errors.

The system provides quick retrieval of information whenever needed:

Hospital management systems should have a data recovery system, which is fast and less time consuming. The same goes for retrieving or finding some information from the database.

In hospitals, time is valued more than money. Instead of allowing everyone to work on it, the management can hire professionals who can handle these issues. The work atmosphere in a hospital is quite different than other organisations. The doctors and other medical staff have to be on their toe to cope with any emergency.

A robust system, on the other simplifies the process as the doctors don’t have to look for the relevant details whenever required. The management has to be competent and take care of the stocks so that there are no crises.

The working and management of staff

The hospitals must have a strategy to foresight the demands of various medical stocks, which include some that are required for treating serious medical disorder. There are some medicines that are too expensive to be over or under stocked. Through this system, you can keep a track of the cost, the shipping charges, and other incidental cost. The key fact of the proper functioning of any organisation depends on the working of the staff. Hence it is crucial for the staff to work according to set policies of the management.

Emotions are a major part of our lives, which affect our mood and temperament. They bring a change in your behavioral pattern, which could be positive or negative. Most of us give more importance to our physical health, while ignoring issues like stress and problems, which could permanently damage you’re an individual mentally.

People, who are capable of controlling their emotions and take life’s ups and downs in a positive way, rarely fall victim to any mental problems. They can create harmonious relationships and recover faster from the bitter experiences in life. A good emotional health can boost your confidence, uplifts mood, a strong sense of conviction, and thus leading to a peaceful life.

Emotional Health Is the Golden Key To Life

Thought triggers the feelings such as anger, hatred, fear, anxiety, love, joy and so on. While it’s not in your hand to control them, but you sure can deal with them in your most dignified manner. This will reduce your psychological pressure and free you from any remorse of ill treating anybody due to a bad mood. Being upset is normal at times, but leading an unhappy life forever could impact your day to day activities. Emotional well being is closely related to being happy and content. If you are cheerful about what’s happening around you, you can make others feel fortunate being with you.

Being emotionally happy suggests:

Have complete satisfaction and the feeling of contentment

Be enthusiastic towards life

Be passionate about your work-life

Attain ability to survive in case of adversity

Maintain healthy relationship with your loved ones and family

Be self confidence and smile on your face

Have positive and progressive thoughts

Set clear goals

Segregate wants and needs depending upon your economic conditions

The Bounce Back Theory:

Being sad is the part of life. There can’t be a single person in the world that will not be sad or has never been sad. Being helplessly upset or unhappy is not the way of life to deal with it. You live your life once, so making it better with a positive outlook would benefit you in all aspects such as social, economical, etc.

Once you lose the moment, you’ll never be able to live it again. Therefore, just think about it, before you take any step to ruin it further. Ask yourself if it is a good idea to lead a life in distress? How fruitful will it be to you and your life? You must remember that starting a fresh is never too late. When life puts you down, have the elasticity to bounce back with a bang and enjoy life.

Physical health is directly proportional to mental health:

Taking a good care of you is the first and foremost step to have an emotional harmony. By doing so, you can maintain a healthy family life. Also, be a respectable member of the society. You could take good care of how you dress, the way you carry yourself, watch what you eat and places where you go. This will make sure that you are not left out and looked down upon.

The Activities In Which You Can Engage Yourself To Be Stress Free Are:

Exercise: Working-out is very helpful during the times when you are pressurized and want to relax a bit. A good body can lead to a healthy life. Go for morning walks, or else hit the gym whenever you get time. Remember that overdoing of anything can be injurious to your body.

Have a diet plan: Maintaining healthy a diet suggests that your body is getting enough nutrition. Take vitamin supplements and antioxidants as and when you can.

Medical supplies and services are being offered at discounted prices over the net these days. It doesn’t matter if you are looking for breast lift clinics in Louisville or for your vitamins. All you will need to do is contact the sellers or service providers on their websites.

Alcohol Consumption is mainstream in several countries. It is a part of several social communities. However, Driving while drunk is strictly prohibited. And before Blood, Urine test phases, you need to make sure there is no significant amount of Alcohol in your blood.

So you need to know How long Alcohol stay in your Blood, in order to estimate the time before you can drive legally.

How long does Alcohol stay in Blood

It varies from person to person. However, it approximately takes 1 Hour to break down 10ml of Alcohol in pure form. (1 Unit of Pure Spirit). However it varies based on several facts such as:-

Body mass index

Metabolism rate

Your Gender

Amount of Food you’ve consumed at that moment.

Your metabolic rate

Rate of Alcohol in Blood

You need always be aware of the amount of alcohol you’re taking in. Consumption of excessive volumes could lead to intoxication, consequently resulting in loss of co-ordination, euphoria and ultimately death (For considerably higher volumes)

The maximum level allowed for driving in most of countries is 0.5 grams / liter. Professional drivers have a legal maximum of 0.3 g / l. And in some countries, even 0.01 grams of alcohol is prohibited.

You can go into Coma state if the level is higher than 4 grams /liter. Only 10% of the alcohol roughly dissolves in your blood, while the remaining proportion evaporates through your breath.

Breath Analyzers

They are used most commonly by patrolling cops on driveways. If they suspect Drunk driving, you may be asked to undergo test through a breath analyzer. What it does it basically, calculates the alcohol level in your breath, which is almost equal to the level present in your blood.

The hair loss problem among men, also referred as androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness is a common condition that occurs among more than 25% of the UK men before they turn 30. Apparently this problem is considered as harmless and doesn’t involve the risk of any serious physical complication, although it can be embarrassing. However, a recent clinical study has suggested that men, who start losing hair in their early or late 20s, are under a significantly greater risk to suffer from prostate problems, especially prostate cancer later in their lives. In accordance to the link between male hair loss or male pattern baldness and prostate cancer, it has been suggested that using Propecia, a prescription medication for hair loss treatment, may help in reducing the risk of prostate problem.

Male pattern baldness is characterised by thinning and then permanent loss of hair at the temples and crown, till the both ends meet and leave the remaining hair with the shape of a horseshoe. It’s a condition that doesn’t tend to have a direct cause, although some men tend to be genetically predisposed to hair loss. This is because some men may have hair follicles that are more sensitive to dehydrotestosterone (DHT), a testosterone derivative that is naturally produced by the body. Dehydrotestosterone tends to attack hair follicles, causing them to shrink. The shrinking causes decreased capacity of the hair follicles to sustain hair growth. It is thought that the breakdown of testosterone into DHT is what could possibly also be responsible for increasing a man’s risk of developing prostate cancer. Scientists are of the opinion that androgens are responsible for the development and growth of prostate cancer.

Propecia is the only prescription medication currently available in the UK, capable of treating male pattern baldness effectively. It has been suggested further than as it stops conversion of testosterone, which is why some scientists believe that it has the potential to reduce a person’s risk of prostate cancer. The breakdown of testosterone increases the level of dihydrotestosterone in a man’s blood. The basic ingredient of this prescription hair loss treatment medication is finasteride. It plays an important role in stopping the transformation of testosterone to DHT. As the level of androgen in blood reduces, naturally the hair follicles are nourished. They not only regain their capacity to hold hair but also in certain cases encourage the regrowth of new hair.

Finasteride has been found successful to stop male hair loss in more than 90% cases. This prescription medication doesn’t cause serious physical complications; however, it is always recommended that before a person starts using the medication, he should always opt for it after being consulted properly by a registered physician. In addition to this, it also requires mentioning that timely and recommended use of Propecia is also capable of encouraging significant hair growth, at least personal experience of two third men, who already have used the medication is suggesting this.

It is important for you to know the complete details about the location of kidney pain and it’s symptoms because many people tend to confuse Kidney pain with back pain. Since most people aren’t aware of the exact location of kidneys they mistake kidney pain as back pain and ignore it which may lead to some complications

Kidney Stones Pain Location

Pain caused by a Kidney disorder is felt in the area behind the kidneys. This may spread to the area above your hips, in either side of the spine.

In most of the cases Kidney pain is located close to backpain affected area, this is where you may get confused. If you are a kidney stone patient, it is important to learn about the symptoms of Kidney pain so as to be able to it distinguish from back pain

Kidney Pain Symptoms

Here’s are a few common symptoms of Kidney disorders

Burning sensation and pain experienced during urination.

The irregular flow of urine, and the considerable decrease in the amount of urine.

The presence of blood in urine.

Increased pain when the area of the back over the kidneys is pushed.

Swelling and inflammation visible in this area (Location of Kidneys).

If you experience a considerable increase in urination and gradual nausea and vomiting, then the condition that you might be suffering from, could be a kidney stone disorder.

Kidney stone is a crystal like solid substance blocking up the urinary tract. Kidney stone pain location was also felt strongly in similar areas like the lower back, abdomen and groin regions as well.

Location of the Kidneys

To distinguish Kidney pain, you also need to consider having a look at human body anatomy.

Many people believe that the kidneys are only found in the lower abdomen. You should know that this is not entirely true, and should also be aware that the right kidney is positioned slightly lower than the left, due to the presence and shape of the liver.

This distortion makes it a little confusing to understand the exact location of Kidneys. The area where the kidneys are present is known as the “retroperitoneal cavity ‘, and this is just below the diaphragm.

Hymen is a small thin membrane which partially covers the vaginal orifice. It is present at around 1-3 cm from the entrance of vagina. The opening of hymen layer gradually increases as you age.

Broken Hymen- Test for Virginity

It is a popular myth that’ hymen can only be broken through first sexual intercourse, which can be more or less painful. However, hymen also breaks during sporting activities like cycling, running, skipping, e.t.c and also during masturbation. Once they reach puberty, the hymen tends to become quite elastic.

Sexual Intercourse is the most common way to break the hymen , although statistics show that only 43% of women have bleeding during the first intercourse. This means that in the other 57% of women ‘s hymen is elastic enough to stretch and do not cause any pain or loss of blood during intercourse.

What is it?

It is the collapse of part or the whole lung. That is, the blockage caused in part or entire lung in the bronchial air passage of greater or lesser gauge (bronchus or bronchiole, respectively). The bronchi are tubes that give passage to the air, spreading it throughout the lungs which plays a vital role in Respiration process.

Causes of Atelectasis

Atelectasis may occur by different mechanisms.

The accumulation of bronchial secretions can block the passage of air, leading to partial or total collapse of the affected lung.

When some object inadvertently enters the air and reaches the bronchus, atelectasis may occur. This tends to happen more with the children, when they swallow a toy or other small object.

Lung tumors can grow within a bronchus or press it outwardly, causing, in some cases the total or partial atelectasis of the lungs.

Patients who undergo general anesthesia, which has some chronic lung disease or who are bedridden long time may eventually get affected by atelectasis.

In an adult, atelectasis is generally not a life-threatening situation, since parts of the lung that are not affected can compensate for loss of function of the affected area. Moreover, the same situation a baby or a small child can pose a threat to life.

Symptoms of Atelectasis

The symptoms associated with this condition may or may not be present . Depending mainly on the size of the affected area of the lungs and the presence or absence of concurrent diseases. Pulmonary atelectasis may be accompanied by chest pain, cough or difficulty in breathing.

Diagnosis of Atelectasis?

Through imaging tests such as X-ray or CT scan of the chest, the doctor can make the diagnosis. Atelectasis, physical examination of the patient, may be required in a minority of cases. This is because there must be a collapsed lung from a large area of the lung that result in changes in physical examination.

Bronchoscopy – examination observing the inside of the lungs through a device provided with flexible fiber optics and lenses – are able to detect the blockage of the air passage (bronchi) and its cause.

Treatment of Atelectasis

Treatment should be chosen according to the cause of atelectasis, aiming to expand again (“inflate”) lung.

In cases of accumulation of secretions, pulmonary physiotherapy to mobilize secretions and bronchoscopy for aspiration of these will be the most appropriate treatment.

Physical therapy may be used breathing exercises, tapping (small blows with fists in the lungs), postural drainage (placing the individual in a position that favors the removal of secretions), exercise and vibrators.

When there is any bacterial infection (by bacteria) associated with excess secretions, antibiotics should be given. Besides these, mucolytics (medications that facilitate the expectoration of the secretions) could be used in respiratory infections, either viral or bacterial.

In cases of foreign body in the airway (objects), bronchoscopy should be performed to do the removal. If not successful, surgery should be performed.

When the cause of atelectasis is a tumor, it’s treatment should cure it

How can it be Prevented?

Keep small objects away from children is a way of preventing atelectasis caused by foreign body. Likewise, parents should be cautious in choosing toys that should be appropriate to the child’s age.

Avoid long hours staying in bed is also important for prevention of atelectasis, especially after surgery. In the same sense, physical therapy may also be needed. It can be used for the prevention of atelectasis.

Complications

Pneumonia is a complication that can develop within days of the onset of an atelectasis. Therefore, it is important to cure it before it become fata.

Low Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion is the disorganized cancerous growth of squamous cells covering the cervix. the cells multiply and cell nuclei form atypical appearance

The cervix is the lower segment of the uterus. It is the surface part is at the bottom of the vagina.

At the neck of the uterus, two different fabrics are joined. The tissue covering the outer portion is squamous exocervical. The fabric which covers the inner portion is the endocervical glandular epithelium. The “junction region” or “transformation zone” is the boundary between these two epithelia.

It is in this area where the abnormal growth of cells of the cervix can be observed.

Low Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion Terminology

Intraepithelial lesions of low grades are called LSIL, Low Grade Superficial epthelial Intra-lesion,

These lesions were formerly referred to as condyloma, lesions HPV, mild dysplasia or CIN I (Cervical Intra-epithelial Neoplasia).

These lesions correspond to the first stage of the precancerous lesion. This stage is not malignant, but if left unattended, it may lead to fatal cancer (Cervical Cancer)

The evolution of low-grade lesions

Spontaneous regression in 50% to 60% of the cases,

persistence in 20% to 30% of cases

Evolution towards a high-grade lesion in about 20% to 30% of cases

Evolution to invasive cancer in less than 1% of case

Low Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion Diagnosis

Dysplasia has no symptoms. Cervical dysplasia is not visible to the naked eye. It is visible only under a microscope.

Screening is done by conducting a Pap smear. Consult physician or a gynecologist.

5% of the cases of diagnosis doesn’t show an evidence of cancerous growth. It might just be a false alarm. The patient is then called for a closer examination of the cervix, called “ colposcopy ” for confirmation.

Other results of the diagnosis include Atypical, Low Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion, High Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion and a few others. These High Grade lesions were formerly known as: CIN II, CIN III, CIS, moderate dysplasia, severe dysplasia.

Low Grade Squamous Lesion is an acute condition and be cured easily. While High Grade Squamous Lesions is an advanced stage of the infection and may lead to cancer.

Low Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion Treatment

The treatment of low-grade dysplasia depends first of concordance between the 3 tests performed: smear, colposcopy and biopsy.

There are two possibilities for the treatment of low-grade dysplasia:

Low-grade dysplasia :

When the three tests are consistent and in favor of a low-grade lesion, whose surface is limited and with a “junction box” perfectly visible, CNGOF (December 2007) recommends treating by laser vaporization if lesions persist for at least 18 months. Treatment with laser is completely painless. It is usually done without anesthesia.

When all initial conditions are not met, treatment by a “ cone biopsy ” is required.

High-grade dysplasia :

Dysplasia high always require treatment. They require surgery. The procedure involves removing a small area of the cervix ( cone biopsy ). It is often done under general anesthesia.

Different techniques exist conization. The technique used is decided by the surgeon. The choice of technique depends on the extent of the lesion, colposcopic appearance and habits of the surgeon.
